You must also be aware that this thievery can happen through phone calls made by certain so and so offering you something by pretending to be authorized representatives of a certain company.

It is the phishing scheme that they usually employ for internet users and when you give them personal information through their distorted questionnaire, they get successful. It is really sad if you take the thiefs bait hook line and sinker for you will find sinking for the rest of your life.

These thieves are always good in getting you into their baits. Each time you get unsolicited mails or anonymous phone calls, reject them right away and you are sure to prevent identity theft.
