Accidents and personal injuries are no laughing matter. In fact, the accident claims industry in the UK is worth more than 6 billion per year! It covers road accidents, work related injuries and illnesses, criminal injuries, medical negligence, slips, trips and falls and a whole host of other accidents too. The key thing in any accident claim, however, is that someone else is to blame for that accident.

Before we discuss anything, we should be familiar with what is negligence? Well, negligence is unreasonable behaviour which causes contiguous damage. It is not the same as recklessness, because somebody may be exercising as much concern, as they are competent of, however still fall under the level of proficiency expected from them. But, when we come across it in legal terms, it would be an act of being negligent and not careful in a convention or in specialized duties. It means that when a individual or a firm takes on the accountability to carry out the given job with complete sincerity and duty, he/she is bound by law to behave throughout according to the under avowed claims.
